Steel Field Points

We supply steel field points in a wide range of sizes.
The flight of the arrowshaft can be fine tuned with the 5/16"
and the 11/32" variation of weights i.e. increase the point weight
to 'lower' the spining or decrease the point weight to 'increase'
the spining. This has proved particularly effective with the
11/32" points when using shafts which are spined too
high for the bow weight yet the strength of the 11/32" shaft is
needed for durability. For example, we have a bow which
draws 48# at 24" ( we both have a very short draw length)
, this shoots arrows spined at 40/45 with 160 grain points
without having to aim off to the right of the target ( we are
both right handed) using 3" parabolic fletchings.

Machined Bodkins
Losing shafts at roving marks can be all too
common! We have a supply of 'machined bodkins'
available at £1.50 each. They come in black and the
picture shows one fitted to an 11/32 ash shaft. The
'shiny' bodkin has been 'elbow greased' with some
emery paper (approx 125 grains).

3D-style Aluminum Points
These points are ultra light at 30 grains.
They are taper fit and sized for 5/16"
shafts. They are less durable than steel but
will suit lightweight distance arrows and
childrens arrows. Cost £3.50 per dozen
plus delivery.
